Richlite® is extremely durable. It is stronger than stone and solid surfaces and can endure long spans and cantilevers without additional support. The same material has been used in the aerospace industry as tooling and prototyping material for over 40 years, as well as for commercial kitchen prep surfaces for over 30 years, and more recently as the leading worldwide skate ramp surface material. Richlite® is more dense and more durable than wood and resistant to scratches, stains and heat. Richlite® does not support the colonization of bacteria and is food safe.
